Lubbock, Texas
Texas Tech University was created by legislative action in 1923. The university is the only campus in Texas that is home to a major university, law school and medical school. Tech athletic department, the Red Raiders, is part of the Big 12 conference. Powered by the football and basketball programs, the University has recently expanded and improved upon its athletic facilities. Among them are the Jones A T&T Stadium and United Spirit Arena, home to the football and basketball programs, respective fully. As facilities were expanded, the opportunity to create permanent Sports Halls of Fame for the football and basketball programs became a reality. In 2007, D|G Studios worked with the architectural team to first develop an Exhibit Master Plan for both programs and then implemented the program in the two venues.
