Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is part of Inova Health System, a not-for-profit health care system. Breaking ground in 2010, the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus’ improvement project is almost completed. Adding a new 11-story, 216,000 square foot South Patient Tower which seamlessly connects to the existing North Tower creating the new Inova Fairfax Hospital. Also recently completed is a 660,000 square foot combined Women’s Hospital/Inova Children’s Hospital. To address the increased number of visitors and users of this expanded campus, Inova also added an additional parking garage and improved the exterior roadway system. Signage, wayfinding and branding systems were developed by D|G for all of these improvements to the campus.
