Texas Children’s Hospital's Pavilion for Women is their first facility dedicated to maternity services for women and new born children. The building was designed using the latest concepts of evidence-based design recognizing that the environment itself is vital to the therapeutic treatment of patients. The building is a 790,000 square foot, 15-story facility for 90-beds and opened in 2012. D|G developed the signage and wayfinding program for the building as well as its 1,000 car below-grade parking garage. Included in the graphics program were custom designed logos for many of the amenity areas such as the gift shop and food court with additional logos developed for the food service stations in the cafeteria.
