Paris, France
Located 19 miles east of Paris, Disneyland Paris opened in 1992 and is a 5,000 acre theme park at the Marne-la Vallee. The Magic Kingdom theme park is modeled largely after their US counterparts and includes five "lands" with almost 30 attractions. The Resort area also includes six hotels each designed to reflect a certain part of the United States. D|G Studios developed a comprehensive thematic exterior and interior signage and graphics program for two of the hotels, as well as the Davy Crockett Campsite for campers and the 18-hole Disney Golf Club. The Cheyenne Hotel is themed as a frontier town of the American West during the late 1880's; and The Santa Fe Hotel's theme takes shape from the historical and geographic facts of the true western desert area.
