D|G Studios developed a Master Plan Program and Guide with immediate implementation of Signage and Wayfinding in the Downtown and Sugar House districts, with future installations by the City in other districts. The catalyst for undertaking the project was the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, and implicit in the development of the program was the desire to reinforce a sense of place and welcome tourists and residents alike. Our collaboration resulted in the development of a functional and maintainable Signage system that through its design elements reinforces the image and unique character of the City while guiding visitors to its many attractions.
